Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about ordering, referrals, collection centres, results, and subscriptions.

About the service

Is Levitas a weight loss clinic?

No. Levitas does not prescribe medication and does not replace your doctor. It is an independent blood monitoring and dashboard layer.

Who reviews the results?

Pathology services and reviewed result reports are handled through qualified clinical partners. Levitas then stores, parses, and lays out the reviewed report inside your dashboard.

Is this medical advice?

No. The dashboard is designed to improve readability and record keeping. Medication and treatment decisions should be discussed with a qualified clinician.

Who is Levitas for?

Levitas is for Australian adults using, considering, or already established on GLP-1 medication who want clearer blood monitoring around safety, nutrition, metabolism, and trends over time.

Do I need to see my GP first?

You do not need to bring a separate GP referral to order through Levitas. The service uses a clinical referral workflow behind the scenes. You should still involve your GP or treating clinician for medical decisions.

Can I use Levitas if I am under 18?

No. Levitas is for adults aged 18 and over.

Panels and pricing

Which product should someone choose first?

Choose Baseline if you want a starting point, Monitor if you are already taking a GLP-1 and want focused follow-up, or Annual if you want the deeper yearly review.

Can I add pregnancy or hormone testing?

Yes. Pregnancy Test and Hormone Panel are optional checkout add-ons when you want more context on the same order.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription before the next renewal from your dashboard. If you are requesting a refund after payment has been processed, please refer to our Returns Policy.

Are prices shown with GST?

Yes. Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

What is the difference between Baseline and Monitor?

Baseline is the broader first check when you are starting or need a fresh reference point. Monitor is the leaner follow-up check once you are already on a GLP-1 and want ongoing visibility.

Can I order add-ons without a main panel?

Add-ons are intended to be ordered with a main Levitas panel so your referral, result handling, and dashboard stay clean.

Collection and results

Where do I get blood drawn?

Take the referral to a participating pathology collection centre. Use the collection centre page to search for nearby collection centres.

Do I need to book an appointment?

Some collection centres accept walk-ins and others may require bookings or have limited hours. Check the collection centre details before visiting.

Do I need to fast or attend at a certain time?

Any preparation instructions will be shown on your referral or provided by the clinical/pathology partner. Follow the referral instructions rather than general website advice.

What should I take to the collection centre?

Take your referral and any identification requested by the collection centre. The referral email and PDF are the documents to follow.

How long do results take?

Many results are available in 1-2 days, but timing depends on the markers ordered, the lab workflow, public holidays, and whether any tests take longer to process.

How will I know my results are ready?

You will receive an email telling you that your results are ready. You then log in to your Levitas dashboard to view the organised result set and the reviewed PDF.

Can I download my referral or result PDF?

Yes. Your dashboard is designed to keep referrals and reviewed result PDFs attached to the relevant order.

What happens if results are abnormal?

The reviewed pathology report remains the clinical source of truth. Levitas highlights key markers clearly and directs you back to appropriate clinical care.

What if I feel unwell or have symptoms?

Do not wait for Levitas results if you feel unwell. Contact a qualified healthcare professional, urgent care service, or emergency services depending on the situation.

Accounts and privacy

Do I need an account?

Yes. Results are delivered through a private dashboard, so you need an account and verified email to access referrals, results, billing, and subscription settings.

Where is my data stored?

Levitas is designed around Australian data storage. We also use trusted service providers for payments, email, hosting, and authentication.

Will Levitas sell my health data?

No. Levitas does not sell personal health data to advertisers.

Can I update my personal details?

You can update app-side account details in the dashboard. Referral-critical details should be checked carefully at checkout because pathology orders depend on accurate information.
