Privacy policy
Your health data deserves careful handling.
This policy explains how Levitas handles personal information and sensitive health information in connection with our website, checkout, customer dashboard, pathology referral workflow, and support.
Last updated: 11 May 2026
Levitas is designed for Australian customers. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles, and applicable health information obligations.
1. What we collect
We collect the information needed to provide private pathology ordering, referral handling, result storage, dashboard access, billing, and support.
This may include your name, email, phone number, date of birth, sex, suburb, postcode, order details, pathology referral details, reviewed result PDFs, parsed biomarker values, support messages, account activity, and payment metadata. We do not store full card numbers.
Health information is sensitive information under Australian privacy law and is handled with a higher level of care.
2. How we use it
We use your information to create and manage your order, submit pathology referral details through our clinical and pathology partners, receive and organise reviewed results, send service emails, operate your dashboard, process payments, manage subscriptions, prevent misuse, and improve the service.
Levitas uses this information as a digital health information, ordering, and dashboard platform. We do not use it to provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, pathology testing, clinical review, or prescribing.
We may use de-identified or aggregated information to understand product performance and improve the dashboard. We do not sell your personal health data to advertisers.
If you opt in to marketing or lead-magnet emails, we may send educational content and service updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only where reasonably needed to provide the service, comply with law, protect our rights, or support the technology that runs Levitas.
This may include pathology and clinical partners, accredited laboratories and collection networks, payment processors, email providers, cloud hosting and database providers, analytics tools, professional advisers, and regulators where required.
4. Security and storage
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organisational safeguards to protect information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and telling us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
5. Access, correction, and deletion
You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
You can also ask us to delete information, subject to legal, tax, clinical, audit, fraud-prevention, and operational retention requirements.
6. Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies, pixels, analytics, and similar technologies to operate the website, understand traffic, measure marketing performance, and improve user experience.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, although parts of the website or app may not work as intended if cookies are disabled.
7. Overseas service providers
Some technology providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and appropriate contractual or technical safeguards.
8. Contact
For privacy questions, access requests, corrections, or complaints, contact admin@levitas.com.au. We will aim to respond within a reasonable time.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy complaint, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
